Solar heating systems

Solar water heating is the process of solar panels using the sun's energy to heat water directly. A typical solar water heating system is usually comprised of a solar water heating solar panels located on the roof. Heat transfer fluid is pumped through the solar heating panels and heated by the sun's energy harvested by the solar water heating panels. The water heated by the solar heating panels is stored in a solar hot water cylinder and can be called upon as needed to provide domestic hot water. Using a custom made cylinders the energy can also be used to provide heat for a warm water underfloor heating system. Domestic solar water heating is where the solar heated water is used to provide some or all of the need for hot water for domestic use and usually works by heating the cold water that enters the home before it is sent to the boiler or hot water tank.
