Sidney has been working on a farm building conversion for the past few years in East Sussex. His aims are to convert the dwelling to a five bedroom property for him and his family.
He decided that he wanted to steer clear from conventional radiators and having vaulted ceilings, he felt underfloor heating would be the best solution for his build.
Sidney found Rayotec via Seeboard and bought the Triple Tube system. He commented:
The system is not difficult to install once the system is understood, the actual installation can be done by anyone – very easy.
Sidney has also installed the thermalstore cylinder supplied by Rayotec to benefit from mains pressure hot water as well as the ability of linking his underfloor heating to solar panels at a later date. He commented "These tanks are great – we do however need to educate plumbers in this area, I had three flee in terror!" Our Thermalstore's are in fact no more difficult than normal cylinders to install.
Sidney has taken aboard the renovation work himself and is still an ongoing project, he has however kindly given us some before and after shots of his conversion to date and will be in touch once the build is completed!
