Oxygen Ingress Resistant

Oxygen ingress can be a problem in underfloor heating systems. If oxygen diffuses through the pipe lengths, it can react with any ferrous components (i.e. components containing iron) in the heating circuit resulting in rust. This rust can block the pipes causing deterioration in the performance of the triple tube underfloor heating system.

To resolve this, underfloor heating systems use oxygen barriers within the underfloor piping, but the triple tube system goes one step further and removes all ferrous components in the triple tube underfloor heating. Not only does this eliminate the problem of oxygen ingress but the stainless steel heat exchanger used in the manifold can prolong the life of your boiler.
