Rayotec specialise in PV solar power systems for domestic projects. We provide a full design, supply & installation service to all our customers. As we are fully accredited with the Low Carbon Building program we can help our customers apply for the government grant.

All domestic solar power (PV) systems are sold in a standard unit called kilo Watts peak (kWp). This is the amount of energy an area of panels will make in one hour under peak conditions. In the case of the SCHOTT domestic solar power system this is about 6 of our standard PV panels.
Domestic solar power (PV) systems are completely modular and a typical domestic systems range from 1 - 5kWp. Whatever excess energy produced that can't be used by the householder is sold back to the grid so there is no limit on the size of a system.
Domestic solar power(PV) systems do take up quite a lot of roof space (about 8m2 per kWp). Our surveyor will determine upon the initial site assessment the correct sized system given the available roof space.
The domestic solar power government grant is currently set at a maximum of £2500 per system. We help all our customers with the application form that needs to be completed to apply for the domestic solar power grant.
Nearly all electrical suppliers will buy back domestic generated solar power (PV) electricity. However some buy at a much better rate than others. Rayotec will advise on the best domestic solar power supplier at the time of purchase.
