Rayotec and its dealers have installed more than 6000 solar hot water domestic installations over the last 20 years.

A typical system for a family of 4 people includes two SCHOTT solar hot water panels installed on an unshaded south facing roof and the replacement of the old hot water cylinder with a new high efficiency solar cylinder. Most installations are carried out in 1-2 days with minimal disruption.

  2. Discuss domestic solar heating options with client
  3. Produce a written formal quotation
  4. Conduct a detailed technical survey (once order has been received)
  5. Full installation and commissioning
  6. Explain operation of system to customer before clearing up and leaving

Rayotec provides a free, no obligation survey for a domestic solar hot water installation of an existing property. This is an informal visit with no pressure or gimmick and focuses attention to serve the needs of the customer.

The domestic solar heating consultant will check the suitability of the property for solar noting orientation of the roof, potential shading and available space.

For a domestic solar thermal system we examine the existing means of water supply and storage tank and the possibility of replacing with a high efficiency type of cylinder for solar energy benefit. We check the potential route of the connecting pipes from the cylinder to the roof for solar connection.
