Solar Energy

Rayotec is the appointed the UK distributors for the SCHOTT concentrating high vacuum solar collector and photovoltaic solar electricity modules. The Company is geared up to provide commercial and technical support and information to those interested in solar energy.

Rayotec has its offices, showroom and warehouse in Sunbury-on-Thames. A member of our sales and surveying team can visit prospective customers in most areas to deal with sales enquiries, assess suitability of the property for solar and provide quotations.

Our team of professional solar engineers, trained and experienced with solar energy system operate from our fully equipped workshop. The engineers, being full-time employees of the company and fully insured, are responsible to prepare systems, carry out installations and provide prompt after sales service. Rayotec Limited also holds training sessions on system design and installation work; this 'free' service has proved a big success with trade customers wishing to promote solar energy in their area.

Rayotec has a network of 62 Dealers in the UK. These independent Dealers can provide information, pricing and installation service to customers in their areas. Supplies of solar collectors, controllers, storage cylinders/ tanks and active system packs are available ex-stock and can be delivered to any part of UK within 7 days. The Company has supplied systems for end-user customers in France, Portugal, Spain and Belgium; in some cases also carried out the installation work as well.

Rayotec Limited and its network of Dealers have carried out in excess of 6,000 installations of solar systems in the UK and Ireland. They range from a single panel system, for a four-person family to an 800-tube evacuated system for the Royal Navy in the West Country. Amongst our thousands of satisfied customers we have the Gatwick Airport, Paignton Zoo, BBC Dream House, the Royal Navy, The Body Shop International plc, HSBC Bank, Scottish Power, EDF Energy and numerous Local Authority properties throughout the country. A recent installation was completed at the new head quarters of the Environmental Agency in Wallingford.

Rayotec is a Government accredited supplier and installer (Accreditation Certificate No. 2119683 - for small and large scale installations of solar systems). Rayotec is a full member of the Solar Trade Association and adheres to its Code of Practice.

Underfloor Heating

Rayotec is one of the UK's leading distributors of warm water underfloor heating. The Company promotes the Triple Tube system which boasts the BBA certificate and the Rayomax system. Rayotec design and sell the systems as a kit, but in addition work close with an independent installation specialist company for those who would prefer a complete peace of mind service.

Rayotec's warm water underfloor heating team distribute throughout the UK and has even got customers in Portugal, Spain and France. The underfloor heating team provide technical back up throughout installations and have an attentive after sales service.

The warm water underfloor heating projects have ranged in size from single room extensions to commercial projects of blocks of homes and communal facilities. Rayotec works close with trade customers such as builders and developers as well as with architects and end users.

Rayotec is also one of the appointed UK distributors for the innovative electric ribbon heating mats. The Company designs and sells the system throughout UK and has sold systems to European and worldwide customers.

The company has worked on projects from as small as bathrooms to large scale projects to blocks of flats and homes, Jersey care home and schools.

Rayotec offers a training service for prospective trade customers as well as free full marketing material for any prospective dealers.
